Antiphona 4 ad Laudes
Dominica I Passionis - Passion Sunday Lauds
About This Prayer
This fourth Lauds antiphon for Passion Sunday draws from Micah 6:3, the famous 'Popule meus': 'O my people, what have I done to thee, or in what have I molested thee? Answer thou me.' This text appears in the Reproaches (Improperia) of Good Friday, where Christ addresses His people from the Cross. The antiphon anticipates Holy Week's dramatic confrontation.
