Dominica I Passionis - Passion Sunday Lauds

This second Lauds antiphon for Passion Sunday draws from Psalm 117:5 (Vulgate): 'In my trouble I called upon the Lord, and the Lord heard me and enlarged me.' The psalm of deliverance provides hope amid the Passion's approaching darkness. The antiphon affirms that God answers the cry of the afflicted.
