Psalm 63:10 (Vulgate) states 'Annuntiaverunt opera Dei, et facta eius intellexerunt' (They declared the works of God and understood His doings). The original psalm describes the wicked plotting against the just man, but God's arrows strike them down, causing all men to 'declare God's works.' Applied to the Apostles, the text emphasizes both proclamation ('annuntiaverunt') and comprehension ('intellexerunt') - they did not merely repeat what they heard but understood its meaning through the Spirit's illumination. At None (3 PM), when Christ died and 'declared' salvation accomplished, this text honors those who grasped and proclaimed that mystery.
