"Ecce Dominus noster cum virtute veniet" (Behold our Lord will come with power) promises illumination of His servants' eyes (Isaias 40:10, 35:5). Physical and spiritual sight restoration marks the Messianic age. Advent II concludes its Lauds with healing hope.
