The Litany of the Saints

The Litany of the Saints is the most ancient and venerable of all Catholic litanies, with roots in the earliest centuries. Its hierarchical structure proceeds from the Trinity through Mary, angels, patriarchs, apostles, martyrs, confessors, and virgins. Prescribed for the Easter Vigil, ordinations, religious professions, Rogation Days, and the dying.
