This fourth Lauds antiphon for Palm Sunday references the triumphal entry: 'With the Angels and men in faith go we to meet the Redeemer, hailing the Slayer of death with joyful shouts: Hosanna in the highest.' The title 'triumphator mortis' (slayer of death) anticipates the Resurrection. The antiphon unites heavenly and earthly worship of the entering King.
