Dominica II Passionis seu in Palmis - Palm Sunday Lauds

This second Lauds antiphon for Palm Sunday draws from Psalm 117:11-12 (Vulgate): 'Surrounding me, they compassed me about; and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.' The Palm Sunday procession recalls Christ's entry into Jerusalem, where hostile crowds will soon surround Him. The antiphon anticipates the Passion's reversal in the Resurrection.
