A responsory sung after the a lesson at Matins during Ordinary Time. The responsory form—with its verse and repeated refrain—allows meditation on the Scripture just proclaimed.

R. Justitia tua justitia in aeternum. * Da mihi intellectum. Justitia. V. Justus es, Domine, in aeternum. Da mihi intellectum. Gloria Patri. Justitia. V. Defecit anima mea. R. In salutare tuum.
ENGLISH
R. Thy justifications are right. * Give me understanding. Thy justifications. V. Righteousness is thine for ever. Give me understanding. Glory be. Thy justifications. V. My soul hath fainted. R. After thy salvation.
