Collecta - Feria II Paschae
Feria II infra Octavam Paschae (Easter Monday) - Collecta propria
About This Prayer
The collect for Easter Monday, petitioning for the healing remedies (medicamenta) given through the Paschal solemnity. The prayer asks that God's people attain perfect liberty (perfectam libertatem), echoing St. Paul's teaching on freedom from sin and death (Romans 6:22). This liberty leads to eternal life.
