Holy Saturday: Special collect anticipating the Resurrection. Said without Oremus, conclusion silent.

This collect for Holy Saturday Compline anticipates the Resurrection: 'Grant that we who anticipate the resurrection of thy Son with pious expectation may obtain the glory of the same resurrection.' Holy Saturday is the day of Christ's rest in the tomb. Those not attending the Paschal Vigil pray this collect in expectant hope of Easter.

Concede, quaesumus, omnipotens Deus: ut, qui Filii tui resurrectionem devota exspectatione praevenimus; ejusdem resurrectionis gloriam consequamur. Per eumdem Christum Dominum nostrum.
ENGLISH
Grant, we beseech Thee, O Almighty God: that we who anticipate the resurrection of Thy Son with pious expectation, may obtain the glory of the same resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.
